Tapped Beer

As all of you know, those of you who have been to our Beer Garden, we are known to have some tasty beers on tab. In fact we have 8 beers, for your tongue to taste! On tab our beers range, from orange hefeweizen, to a dark brown Irish brew. So come in and try one, then all of them, just make sure you drink responsibly. Also, for all you beer nerds we have provided you with quirky beer descriptions:

Ommegang Belgian Pale Ale: Clear medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted – caramel, light to moderate hoppy, grass, moderate moderate yeasty, spicy notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium and carbonation is soft to flat. ABV: 6.2% This will be replaced by Real Ale Lost Gold IPA soon

Guinness: Brown-black color with beautiful medium-sized beige head that lasts fine. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate and sugars. The flavor is creamy smooth with a sweet malty start and ending on a slight roasted note. ABV: 4.1%

Ayinger Bräu-Weisse: An unclear orange beer with a fine white collapsing head. The aroma is of wheat and bananas. The flavor is sweet wheaty and fresh with notes of chewing gum. A very nice hefeweizen. ABV: 5.1%

Saint Arnold Spring Bock: An amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of bread and medium notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and bread, leading to a dry and bitter finish where notes of straw lingers. ABV: 6.4%

Lefebvre Blanche de Bruxelles: The aroma is very fresh with strong notes of lemon and corriander and fainter notes of yeast. The color is an unclear pale orange – it has a big bubbly but extremely fast disappearing head. Enjoy the head and the aroma as long as it lasts. The flavor is sweet and dominated by wheat with notes of lemon, corriander, and earth. It ends on a dry wheaty notes. A really good Witbier. ABV: 4.5%

Alaskan Amber:Clear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, roasted, nutty, cream-caramel, light hoppy, grass, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. ABV: 5.3%

Magic Hat #9: Hazy orange colour, with small white head. Aroma of caramel, malts, fruity hops and some slight hayish notes. Flavour is lots of apricot, hops, malts, grass and caramel. Smooth and refreshing. ABV: 5.1%

Deep Ellum IPA: A lightly hazy orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma of passion fruit, pineapple, pine, citrus, and caramel. Flavor of pineapple, passion fruit, caramel, light pine, and orange with a dry, bitter finish. ABV: 7%
