Tag Archives: Deep Ellum IPA
Hey guys, just wanted to let you know about all the delicious beers we have on tap right now!
-Martin House’s “SeptemberFest”
Brown-orange pour with a white head. The aroma has some strong chocolate notes as well as some light smoke. The flavor is a bit different. While the dry chocolate is still present, I get a lot more smoke and charred malt notes in the flavor. Still, this is an easy to drink beer. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
-Revolver’s “Blood and Honey”
American Wheat Ale
An unfiltered deep golden ale made with malted two row barley and wheat. The brew is finished with Blood Orange zest, local Fall Creek Farms Honey and other spices that bring special flavors to this unique beer.
-Peticolas “Royal Scandal”
English Pale Ale: 6.5% Abv / 36 IBUs It is hop-forward with a balance towards late hop additions and bitterness, yet this medium-bodied brew maintains an ample malt foundation on the way to a smooth, refreshing finish.
-Peticolas ” Velvet Hammer”
Imperial Red Ale -9% Alcohol by volume / 85 IBUs dark, ruby reddish-brown ale beneath a sheath of protective off-white foam. It is malt-forward with elements of caramel and the sweetness of light brown sugar, balanced nicely by a combination of floral hops and a noticeable alcohol bite. It’s a sturdy brew with a smooth character which belies both an inner strength and a slightly full body, along with a moderate bitterness to round out the taste.
-Community Mosaic IPA
The deep golden/light amber color of this IPA comes from the use of a blend of English Maris Otter and American pale base malts. Sparing use of English crystal malt lends some caramel sweetness to help balance the hefty bitterness. Heady aromas of blueberry, pine, citrus and tropical fruit are the result of blending Mosaic hops with several other delicious American hop varieties. For being a large, hoppy beer it is quite drinkable, in part due to the balancing act of alcohol, malt complexity, and enormous American hop character.
-Shiner Bock – $3 5pm-7pm Happy hour every day
a distinctive, rich, full-flavored, deep amber-colored beer with an inviting smooth taste without excessive bitterness.
This carefully crafted pilsner uses the finest ingredients and brewing techniques to ensure rich, full-bodied beer taste at only 96 calories.
Happy Tuesday! Hope you recovered from the Super Bowl. I wasn’t too terribly surprised with the outcome. But at least the half time show as pretty awesome.

Our Soup of the Day has a little south of the border action with Cristina’s Homemade Chicken Tortilla Soup. It’s a spicy soup, so try it with a Deep Ellum IPA. Next on the list is our Appetizer of the Day: Grilled “Lokal Yokal” Beer Brats with Red Cabbage & Pepper Sauerkraut, Honey-Dijon Dressing & Paisano Toast. Brats is just a fancy way of saying pan fry or roast. Those brats will go great with Peticolas Golden Opportunity.
