Summer Tapped Beers


We have recently changed some of our tapped beers in sport of the hot summer we are about to get. The beers that will remain on tap from spring are Guiness, Blanche de Bruxxels , Alaskan Amber, Magic Hat #9 ,Ommegang Belgian Pale Ale (but will soon be replaced by Real Ale Lost Gold IPA  in the near future).  The newly tapped beers that you must come by and try one day are: Palm Belgian Amber, Deep Ellum Farmhouse Wit , St Arnold’s Summer Pils and coming soon…Real Ale Lost Gold IPA. I bet your mouth is watering to try our new local brew from Deep Ellum Brewery. Come try our new tapped beers on our rooftop patio, and of course here are some beer facts for all of you:



Guinness: Brown-black color with beautiful medium-sized beige head that lasts fine. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate and sugars. The flavor is creamy smooth with a sweet malty start and ending on a slight roasted note. ABV: 4.1%




Palm Belgian Amber: Clear medium yellow amber color with a average to large, frothy off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, molasses, caramel, fruity, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, with some nutty notes in the flavor. Body is medium, and carbonation is soft.ABV: 5.4%




Lefebvre Blanche de Bruxelles: The aroma is very fresh with strong notes of lemon and corriander and fainter notes of yeast. The color is an unclear pale orange – it has a big bubbly but extremely fast disappearing head. Enjoy the head and the aroma as long as it lasts. The flavor is sweet and dominated by wheat with notes of lemon, corriander, and earth. It ends on a dry wheaty notes. A really good Witbier. ABV: 4.5%




Deep Ellum Farmhouse Wit: Hazy yellow with a white head and nice lacing. Aroma of spice, banana, florals and citrus. Taste is spicy and fruity and light on the sweetness. Medim bodied and a bit dry. ABV: 4.8%





Alaskan Amber: Clear medium amber color with a large, frothy, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, roasted, nutty, cream-caramel, light hoppy, grass, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, and carbonation is soft. ABV: 5.3%




Magic Hat #9: Hazy orange colour, with small white head. Aroma of caramel, malts, fruity hops and some slight hayish notes. Flavour is lots of apricot, hops, malts, grass and caramel. Smooth and refreshing. ABV: 5.1%




St Arnold’s Summer Pils: A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with light notes of honey. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of both straw and honey, leading to a dry and lightly bitter finish. ABV: 4.9%





Ommegang Belgian Pale Ale: Clear medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted – caramel, light to moderate hoppy, grass, moderate moderate yeasty, spicy notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium and carbonation is soft to flat. ABV: 6.2% This will be replaced by Real Ale Lost Gold IPA soon

Real Ale: Lost Gold IPA: Light unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, pine, tropical fruit,
orange – citrus. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, tropical fruity. Body is medium, and carbonation is soft. ABV:6.6%

Tapped Beer


As all of you know, those of you who have been to our Beer Garden, we are known to have some tasty beers on tab. In fact we have 8 beers, for your tongue to taste! On tab our beers range, from orange hefeweizen, to a dark brown Irish brew. So come in and try one, then all of them, just make sure you drink responsibly. Also, for all you beer nerds we have provided you with quirky beer descriptions:


Ommegang Belgian Pale Ale: Clear medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted – caramel, light to moderate hoppy, grass, moderate moderate yeasty, spicy notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium and carbonation is soft to flat. ABV: 6.2% This will be replaced by Real Ale Lost Gold IPA soon

Saint Arnold Spring Bock: An amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of bread and medium notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and bread, leading to a dry and bitter finish where notes of straw lingers. ABV: 6.4%

Magic Hat #9: Hazy orange colour, with small white head. Aroma of caramel, malts, fruity hops and some slight hayish notes. Flavour is lots of apricot, hops, malts, grass and caramel. Smooth and refreshing. ABV: 5.1%


Deep Ellum IPA: A lightly hazy orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma of passion fruit, pineapple, pine, citrus, and caramel. Flavor of pineapple, passion fruit, caramel, light pine, and orange with a dry, bitter finish. ABV: 7%
